FAR at the Forum: "Unlocking the Hidden Potential: Business Leadership in Refugee Integration"

Maria Netsova and Atty. Yanka Kosarova from the Access to Rights Foundation (FAR) took part in the forum „Unlocking Hidden Potential: Business Leadership in Refugee Integration“. .

The event was held on December 02, 2025, in Sofia, and was organized by UNHCR Bulgaria (UN High Commissioner for Refugees) .

The forum brought together representatives of the MLSP, the British Embassy, Bulgarian business, and the refugee community. The event discussed important topics related to the inclusion of refugees in the labor market in Bulgaria:

- Inclusion as employees/workers.

- The opportunity to start their own business in Bulgaria . Lawyer Yanka Kosarova participated in the panel "Entrepreneurship for People from the Refugee Community – Unveiling Talents and Innovation" , where she presented the legal aspects of starting a business in Bulgaria and the main challenges faced by refugees.

We continue to support initiatives that facilitate access to the labor market and entrepreneurship for persons with international protection.
