Terms of Use
Version 1.0, effective from 6 October 2026
1. Provider
1.1. The platform jobmatching.bg (the “Platform”) is operated by the Foundation for Access to Rights — FAR, UIC 176553638, VAT No. BG176553638 (“FAR”, “we”).
1.2. Contact: office@farbg.eu. Contact for personal data protection matters: office@farbg.eu.
2. Subject and nature of the service
2.1. The Platform is an information society service within the meaning of the Bulgarian Electronic Commerce Act that allows employers to publish job listings and job seekers (“Candidates”) to create profiles and apply.
2.2. FAR provides technical means of contact between Employers and Candidates. FAR is not a party to any employment or civil contracts concluded between them, does not recruit staff and does not guarantee hiring or finding a suitable candidate.
2.3. The Platform does not carry out employment intermediation within the meaning of the Bulgarian Employment Promotion Act. The Employer bears full responsibility for the selection and hiring process.
2.4. Use of the Platform by Candidates is free of charge. FAR does not collect, and does not allow the collection of, any fees from Candidates for publishing a profile, applying or accessing job listings.
3. Registration and account
3.1. An Employer may publish a listing after registering with a valid email address. The person registering declares that they lawfully represent the employer and are authorised to bind it.
3.2. A Candidate creates a profile after confirming their email address. The profile becomes visible to Employers after confirmation.
3.3. The user is responsible for keeping their login credentials safe and for all actions taken from their account. In case of suspected unauthorised access, the user shall immediately notify office@farbg.eu.
3.4. Minimum age for Candidates: 18 years.
4. Publishing job listings (free service)
4.1. Publishing a job listing is free of charge. A listing is active for 30 days and may be renewed free of charge.
4.2. A listing must contain true and complete information: employer, position, place of work, type of contract, main conditions. Publishing listings without a genuine vacancy is prohibited.
4.3. Listings may not contain discriminatory requirements on the grounds set out in the Bulgarian Protection against Discrimination Act, except where permitted by law.
4.4. FAR may edit the formatting of, postpone or remove a listing that violates these terms or the law, notifying the Employer and stating the reason, unless notification is prohibited or would obstruct an investigation.
5. Promoted listing (paid service)
5.1. An Employer may promote a listing for EUR 20.00 including VAT for a period of 30 days. A promoted listing is shown at the top of the list, carries a “Promoted” badge and gives access to Candidates’ profiles and contact details for the period.
5.2. Payment is made by card through the payment service provider Stripe. FAR does not store card data.
5.3. The period starts at the moment of successful payment. An electronic invoice is issued automatically and sent to the email address provided.
5.4. The service is provided in full at the moment of activation. By giving express consent at payment, the Employer accepts that the service starts immediately and that no refund is due after activation, except in the cases provided by law or where the service cannot be provided for technical reasons attributable to FAR.
5.5. Promotion does not guarantee any number of views, applications or hires.
5.6. Prices may be changed; a change does not affect promotions already activated.
6. Obligations of the Employer
6.1. To comply with labour legislation, including, when hiring third-country nationals, the Bulgarian Labour Migration and Labour Mobility Act.
6.2. To use Candidates’ data only for the purposes of the specific selection process, to protect it and to delete it after the process is completed, unless the law requires otherwise. From the moment of receiving a Candidate’s data, the Employer is an independent controller within the meaning of the GDPR.
6.3. Not to collect fees, deposits or other payments from Candidates and not to withhold identity documents.
6.4. Not to transfer their access, not to extract data in bulk and not to use automated means to access profiles.
7. Obligations of the Candidate
7.1. To provide true information about themselves and their qualifications.
7.2. Not to apply on behalf of other persons without their consent.
7.3. May at any time hide, edit or delete their profile.
8. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are prohibited: false or misleading information; listings for activities contrary to the law or good morals; content infringing the rights of third parties; spam, malicious code, attempts to circumvent the Platform’s protections; harassment or discrimination.
9. Intellectual property
9.1. The Platform, its design and the content created by FAR are protected. The user receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purposes.
9.2. The user retains the rights to the content they publish and grants FAR the right to display and process it within the Platform.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
11. Liability
11.1. FAR takes care to keep the Platform running continuously but does not guarantee the absence of interruptions or errors. Planned interruptions are announced in advance where possible.
11.2. FAR is not liable for the content of listings and profiles, for the actions of Employers and Candidates or for the contracts between them.
11.3. FAR’s liability towards an Employer for paid services is limited to the amount paid for the respective service, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
12. Termination
12.1. The user may close their account at any time. Active promotions are not refunded (see 5.4).
12.2. FAR may restrict or terminate access in case of a breach of these terms, with notice and a statement of reasons, and immediately in case of a serious breach. The Employer may object at office@farbg.eu; FAR responds within a reasonable time.
13. Amendments
FAR may amend these terms. Registered users are notified by email at least 15 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
14. Applicable law and disputes
14.1. Bulgarian law applies.
14.2. Disputes are resolved by mutual agreement and, failing that, by the competent Bulgarian court. Consumers within the meaning of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act may contact the Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) or the EU online dispute resolution platform.
